For his new project around the character of Hulot by Jacques Tati, David Merveille offers a new work combining cut-outs and scenes in the form of strips. The recognizable silhouette of Monsieur Hulot plays with appearances, and leaves the reader suspended from one scene to the next. Thus, in the same image, the tennis racket is transformed into a frying pan, and Hulot goes from serving at the back of the class to serving in the kitchen. Comic sequences, specified on each page by a comic strip-like transition.
