Biography
Jacques de Loustal was born in Neuilly in 1956. In the late 70s, while studying architecture, he began to publish illustrations in Rock & Folk where he met Philip Paringaux him write several scenarios comics published in Heavy Metal, then (To Follow). Together they will sign and several albums such as "Barney and the Blue Note", "Hearts of Sand", "Kid Kongo", etc..
Jacques de Loustal worked with other writers like Jerome Charyn ("The Brothers Adamov," Sonya White ") and more recently Jean-Luc Coatelem for" Pretty China Sea "and" Nothing new to Fort Bongo ", published Casterman.
Alongside his activities cartoonist, he worked as an illustrator for many editing (including the works of Georges Simenon), press (The New Yorker, Senso, etc..) And advertising, and exhibited regularly his paintings at Galerie Christian Desbois in Paris.
